Devries, Trifiletti & Loy, Inc., is in the business of providing general accounting, tax and consulting services to small businesses in the Northern Ohio area. And we have been doing so for over 50 years! Our goal is to provide the maximum service to clients in our areas of expertise. We endeavor to develop a joint venture between our clients and our firm. Our firm's continuing goal is for each staff person to make a personal commitment towards building service as the foundation of Devries, Trifiletti & Loy, Inc.

Devries, Trifiletti & Loy, Inc., was started in 1969 as a part-time business by Robert K. Smith, who was at that time a professor in the business department at Baldwin-Wallace College in Berea. As more clients were added and the business grew, it became his full-time occupation in 1975. On October 1, 1977, the firm was incorporated as a professional corporation under the name R. K. Smith & Associates, Inc. Continued growth and the addition of professional staff personnel over the years have brought us to our present day organizational level. In 1992, Jim Loy became a shareholder followed by Dave Devries in 1995, Mike Trifiletti in 2001, Shawn Huntington in 2017, and Kevin Patno in 2023.
